Dr. Steven Nielsen is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and leading expert on the latest technologies and advancements in eye care and eye surgery. He specializes in refractive surgery, cataract surgery, cornea transplants, glaucoma, and laser surgery of the eye.
Refractive Experience
Dr. Nielsen has performed over 20,000 of successful laser vision correction procedures. He was the first surgeon in the Boston area to perform the bilateral LASIK procedure.
Education & Training
Dr. Nielsen earned a Medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. His residency was completed at the Doheny Eye Institute at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Nielsen is President of The Nielsen Eye Center, Medical Director of the Cataract & Laser Center and Medical Director of the Laser Eye Center of Quincy.
